CBGA Tincture – 1,000mg (OUT OF STOCK)

1,000mg Concentration

1oz Bottle

This CBGA tincture is designed to provide you with all the benefits that hemp has to offer. While similar to CBD, CBGA is a different compound from CBD. CBGA is the foundational compound when hemp flowers are produced and has been found to combat diseases and improve sleep patterns.

Importantly, CBGA is safe, non-addictive, and non-intoxicating. It was also recently found that CBGA has COVID-19 prevention and treatment properties. Check out this study for more information.

While similar to CBD, CBDa (cannabidiolic acid) is a different compound from CBD. CBDa is the acidic precursor of CBD. When the hemp plant develops and the flowers appear, it is CBDa oil that we derive if we cut a flower and extract it in its raw form.

A recent study out of Oregon State University, Cannabinoids Block Cellular Entry of SARS-CoV-2 and the Emerging Variants,” found that CBDA may be effective for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19. The researcher focused on the cannabinoids CBDA and CBGA and found that “orally bioavailable and with a long history of safe human use, these cannabinoids, isolated or in hemp extracts, have the potential to prevent as well as treat infection by SARS-CoV-2,”.

While CBDA doesn’t interact with the endocannabinoid system, it does interact with COX-2, an enzyme that spreads inflammation throughout the body. It also affects serotonin, a neurotransmitter that is also called the happy chemical because it contributes to our wellbeing and happiness.A particularly significant finding when comparing the two compounds is that CBDa appears more bioavailable compared to CBD. Bioavailability refers to the amount of a compound that actually reaches the bloodstream. When we take CBD or CBDa, a percentage of it is lost through our digestive system, our enzymes, and various blocking mechanisms such as the skin. CBDa shows improved levels of bioavailability.

It is yet unclear how much more bioavailable CBDa is, but initial findings are showing that CBDa may be up to 100 times more bioavailable than CBD. This is beneficial in many ways: consumers will need smaller CBDa quantities compared to CBD. More CBDa will reach their bloodstream and start its action. And there is less chance of side-effects. Crucially, CBDa is non-addictive and non-intoxicating, just like CBD. Therefore, taking CBDa will not give you a sense of “high.” At Minny Grown, we only formulate with the necessary ingredients, allowing us to deliver simple products that are driven by research. Our tinctures only contain organic MCT oil, our own hemp extract, and natural flavoring.

Beyond testing our products in-house, all of our CBD oil is tested for accuracy and safety by a third party accredited laboratory. By taking this extra step we are able to confidently deliver the most trusted hemp CBD products on the market.
