After assessing the studies, the New York researchers found that existing preclinical evidence strongly supports CBD as a treatment for generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and post traumatic stress disorder. What’s even more exciting is that the human studies support a finding that CBD has an excellent safety profile, suggesting that an all-natural solution is available for those suffering with stress and anxiety. 

More Research is Needed 

As CBD continues to rise in popularity, it is undeniable that more research is needed into the benefits of this amazing molecule. And although CBD appears to be effective and safe for managing stress and anxiety, some urgency exists into identifying optimal dosage for CBD users.
